Native Birds And Trees Of New Zealand

Our class had to make a slideshow about New Zealand native birds and trees. Before we did this slideshow we were doing other activities about native birds and trees.

Santa Fabulous Menu

Our class had to write a Christmas menu. My menu was like something that I had last year for Christmas.
I really enjoyed making my Christmas menu.

Bird Feeder

For Oral language we presented our bird feeder designs. Some people went off with Shirley and made bird balls, later on we had to hang them up. Then a couple days later we checked them, some of the bird feeders were gone.

Amazing Awesome Athletics

Yesterday it was Athletics Day at Bledisloe Domain. The schools that came to athletics were Kawakawa, Maromaku, Waikare, Motatau and Karetu. The events were hurdles, shot put, high jump, discus 100 metres and 400 metres. I came first in hurdles, I also came 1st in 100 metres then I came 3rd in 100 metres semi finals, I also came came 4th in 400 metres and discus.

Caring For The Lovely Birds

Today our class had to read a story all together, the story was about caring for birds.
Now I know what to do if I find a baby bird that is lonely.

Watch Your Back Under The Sea!!!

Chris came in today to show us how to make a animation with a slideshow. I really had a lot of fun sitting down looking for pictures and changing slide after slide after slide. 

The Amazing Fun Pet Day!!!

Last Friday it was Paihia Primary School pet day. There were many different pets. In class we were creating sand saucers, jam jar, novelty container and a vaseline saucer. It was a amazing and relaxing day.

I learnt that procedural writing is a set of instructions. When you are writing a set of instructions you have to make sure everything is detailed so the person knows what to do.

I learnt to understand and complete the structure of narrative writing. I learnt to use speech marks (Commas), onomatopoeia, alliteration and variety of punctuation and I completed them all.

Kia ora I just watched our play video for reading. I think next time we can improve by speaking up and try to use more expression and maybe some actions.
